Our Fall fundraiser is underway! We are raising money to ensure that our small, independent, not for profit, school can offer scholarships to families in need, buy new materials and supplies for the classroom, pay our teachers fair wages, and to help offset raising operating costs.
Early Childhood Education has been proven to be an asset in a child's social and emotional development which in turn helps them to be more successful in their academic years ahead. Help us give these little ones the nurturing care, guidance and enriching environment that supports their development at this important stage of growth.

Petoskey Children’s Nature Preschool is a play based, nature centered preschool for 3-5 yr olds. We approach learning through hands on experiences with seasoned professionals who teach from the heart.

Our mission at PCN is to meet each child where they are emotionally, socially, academically, and developmentally while giving them an accepting, enriching play-based, and nature centered environment to explore the world and relationships around them.

Young children learn best when they are engaged, involved, allowed for open ended exploration, and in a warm, inclusive, comforting environment. We offer a variety of enriching activities designed to help each child in their social, emotional, physical and academic development. With an ever changing world we are here to embrace each child and their family as we navigate through challenging times and make sure everyone feels loved, safe, and heard.
At PCN we also spend a lot of time in nature, and bringing nature in. We learn about the natural world around us by taking hikes, using magnifying glasses, touching, smelling, identifying, exploring and asking lots of questions.
